Our Journey to Adoption

Thank you so much for stopping by our page and choosing to join us on this crazy ride called adoption! I’m Hannah Bloomer, and my husband, Dustin Bloomer, and I have been married for seven years. It has been such an amazing seven years full of laughter, fun, beautiful memories, and inevitably, some heartache too. The most painful moments have been centered around us hoping and praying to bring a little one into our hearts and home. We have been battling the ugliness that is infertility for the past five and half years and it has been a wearisome road, but we have never given up hope. We trust in our good God and know that because He hasn’t taken the desire of being parents away, He has a perfect plan to intersect our lives with the child we are meant to love and raise.

A Little Bit About Hannah and Dustin

Dustin Bloomer was born and raised in Miller, MO, where he currently lives with his wife and cat. He and his sister and brother- in-law own their own guitar business called BloomDoomGuitars, where they paint and relic guitar bodies to make them look vintage. In his free time he loves playing golf, and watching sports on television.

Hannah Bloomer grew up in Bowling Green, Kentucky, but moved to Missouri in 2017, shortly before the two were married. She is a third grade teacher at Round Grove Christian Academy. In her spare time, she likes to crochet and exercise when she can.

Clueless, but Stepping Out in Faith

The adoption process is pretty intimidating and we will admit we don’t even know where to start. We are hoping by getting our story out there and being open and vulnerable, our community of friends and family can help point us in the right direction. My specific prayer has been that we would be able to have a private adoption and walk alongside a young mother whose desire is to find a loving home for her baby. We have so much love to give and know that our journey is just beginning. Thank you in advance for your prayers, advice, and help!
